While many garden centres buy in their stock, we, as a traditional nursery, grow our own plants from seeds or young plugs. For us as growers, this is an amazing process as we nurture our tiny seedlings and plugs and watch them develop into strong, healthy plants ready for sale. It also gives our customers in Bognor Regis, Chichester and the surrounding areas access to plants of the highest quality

Spring Planting

Throughout the winter months we have been busy ‘behind the scenes’ growing hundreds of plants ready for the new gardening season. As March progresses, we will continue with our plant production to ensure we have a huge selection of plants ready for our customers.

Many of the hardier plants, such as perennials and shrubs, can be planted out now, as well as early vegetable and lettuce plants. For instant colour, our Spring and Summer flowering Pansies and Violas are excellent for filling in those bare patches in the border and sprucing up patio pots and window boxes. Pinks, Sweet Peas and Ranunculus can also be planted out now..

Our bedding Geranium plants are now available for those who wish to pot and grow on in a heated greenhouse or on a windowsill indoors. They will then be ready for planting out in May.
